Do away with the annoying bar pins that never seem to be problem free in your rig. You hear the thumping and the popping as you drive down the street because your after market shocks are sliding back and forth on the bar pin. This allows the bushing eyelet to bump against the shock mounting perch.

Get rid of these noises once and for all with our bar pin eliminating shock relocation brackets! With these brackets installed, you can:
  • Get rid of the bar pins you hate
  • Preload the bushing so that it holds its shape
  • Prolong bushing life
  • Orient the shocks to minimize the working angle of the bushing throughout the suspension cycle
  • Get .85" more down travel in your suspension

Fits the front of your XJ, ZJ, TJ, MJ, and WJ. Also available for the rear of your XJ or TJ - 10124

KIT INCLUDES:
  • BPE Shock Relocation Bracket (pair)
  • Class 10.9 and Grade 8 hardware
  • Zinc finish on the brackets for corrosion resistance.

NOTE: Not compatible with Old Man Emu shock absorbers.

These mounts are great but the mounting didn't go that easily . I have almost every IRO product for my WJ and these were a PITA. The WJ axle needs to be lightly drilled to accept the new bolts. Also if you try and mount the plates first then you cant turn the shock bolts with anything other then a open end wrench and you still run into clearance issues with the smaller plate bolts. The only way is to pre mount the shock in the plate and then lock in the smaller bolts with the shock bolts. Then hope you and your buddy are strong enough to chest press your shock with the palm of your hand and quickly slip in the mount bolts without binding them with the shock pressure or pinching your lift hand with the rebound pressure. The Pass side took me 4 hrs. The drivers side took me 15 mins after i had figured out the best install process. This could easily be fixed by either tack welding the plate bolts in or going up one more hardware size and sleeve for the shock effectively locking the shock bolt from turning once installed. Other then that these are another great IRO upgrade.

Absolute nightmare to install, doesn't matter how you try to install them. Either you try to do it with the shocks attached and have no clearance for the mounting bolts, and have to try to squeeze the bar pin eliminator together to get the mounting bolt holes to line up, or you bolt it up with the shocks unattached and end up slicing your bushing to pieces with the super sharp inside edges of the bar pin eliminator while trying to install the shock. I contemplated suicide twice during the entire installation process. Please reengineer these. Great concept, shit design.

Just installed these, and I never want to install the IRO version BPEs again. What was supposed to be a straight forward job turned into a day of McGuyver-ing to get it all lined up (my XJ is no where close to a sh*tbox)… with so many other BPEs on the market, I really feel like I wasted my time with these.

Just received these. The quality of construction looks to be very good - these are clearly not Chyna junk! They will need to be primed and painted however, just to keep them from eventually rusting away.
