Protect your rear end! ZJ's and WJ's are outfitted with the Dana 44a, featuring a center section cast from lighter weight, but durable aluminum. Intensive off-road usage has the potential to gradually erode the malleable aluminum, leading to issues with differential cover sealing. In more extreme cases, the material may become significantly weakened, posing the risk of a puncture through the thinned surface.
