Designed to withstand any abuse you can dish out! This tie rod is made from 1.25" SOLID cold rolled steel! Each end is tapped to fit your factory tie rod ends for easy installation. We include jam nuts to keep it tight and wrench flats on the tie rod itself for easy adjustment without ruining the powdercoat finish! This is one tough tie rod. It is a great upgrade that you will appreciate more and more with every rock or tree stump that you bounce off of. A perfect addition to any Jeep, stock or heavily modified. Fits:
  • XJ Jeep Cherokee (84-01)
  • TJ Jeep Wrangler (97 or newer)
  • ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee (93-98) NOTE: This application may require the use of XJ OEM tie rod ends.


**Steering toe-in adjustment needed after installation. While a professional alignment is best, this can be done successfully at home using a tape measure.**

i purchased this for a 99 Cherokee that is only used off road, so i cant comment on hwy performance, however it is SOLID. I always heard that the stock tie rods were weak, i wheeled on it for 2 years before completely destroying 2 of them in one day. This replacement is perfect for someone not looking to spend a lot on steering or if they are looking at going with a different setup in the near future. install is a breeze and you will not be disappointed.

Bought this on Cyber Monday for a stupid great deal and it is as beefy as I had hoped for. I had a wobble around 60, and this along with new TRE's settled it down to barely being noticable! Great setup and a great company.

best ever. i looked high and low for this, looking for a tie rod without weld in bungs and with drilled and tapped steel. trusting a welded together tie rod i just cant do. this should put the last nail in my death wobble on my Cherokee.
