Add a Magnaflow High Flow Catalytic Converter for even more gain. These cats even come with an O2 sensor bung installed. Adding this high flow cat does increase the flow of your exhaust, also making it grumble with an even deeper tone. NOTE: This Magnaflow Catalytic Converter is NOT 50 State Compliant.
3" kit is extremely tight fitting, some tailpipe modification may be required. The 2 1/2" kit is recommended.

My jeep 1998 grand cherokee 5.9 limited - kit ordered is 11
All the exhaust components are well made. I was looking for a clamp together exhaust that i could install myself. My first encounter was the tailpipe comparison. When i removed the original tailpipe and muffler (yes, it still had the oem exhaust) i noticed the new one didnt match the original tailpipe shape. I was concerned enough that i called customer service and the tech guy i talked with confirmed the part number was correct. He was correct it did fit as it should but was routed different than the oem tailpipe. The new tailpipe routes closer to the gas tank which i don't like. I wanted to add an exhaust tip but being that its closer to the gas tank, it will hit the oem trailer hitch. The oem tailpipe routes outside of the hitch. I would also like to mention that the rear tailpipe hanger could have been made better. I get that its universal but the stem that slips into the rubber insulator is to small so the exhaust has alot of up and down travel. Ill try an after market one to see if its a tighter fit. Installing the rest of the details requires patience. Every detail is long, so multiple trimming of details is required. Also the adapter pipe to connect to the y pipe was the same size as the y-pipe. I had to rent a tool to expand it so it would slide over. This may not be the case for zj”s with a smaller engine. Im not sure but they may have a smaller diameter y-pipe than the 5.9 limited. The muffler choice i went with was the premium hybrid because customer service said it was the quietest. Im not sure if thats what i got because it is very loud. To me, its so loud that I'm going to feel bad for my neighbors every morning at 6:00 am when i fire this up to leave for work. I can say the muffler was very well made. Its the Flow Pro FP-300 if anyone wants to look up some details before buying. I also ordered the high flow cat. Not much to say here, its 3” converter made by MagnaFlo and was very well made. Overall if i were to do this again, i would order this kit but without a muffler and probably order a quieter muffler for daily driving. I will say i noticed a performance gain with this set up and if your not worried about noise then this system is for you.
